Reverberate is a large, jacquard-woven wallhanging derived from the desire to experiment with visual perception, colours and patterns. How does the eye perceive multilayered, mathematical patterns? From a distance, Reverberate is interpreted by the eye as grey, but from up-close, eight different colours become apparent. This is the result of jacquard-weaving
- weaving on an extremely detailed, pixel-level - overlapping patterns and colours.
Reverberate is an acoustic wallhanging meaning that it absorbs sound for a more tranquil, noise-free environment.
